I purchased this as a gift for my granddaughter. The book is a Round to Round Series. The Garden book has a little rabbit that runs around the garden. My granddaughter enjoys this book tremendously.
This is the fourth in the round and round series that I have purchased for my 3 year old grandson. He just loves to read the book and then play with the rest of the book and the trains or tractors or animals that go round and round on the flip out page. This books is also a puzzle that he has to put together before he plays with the round and round part. He absolutley loves these books and so do I.
I love this book!!!! The story and the illustrations are worth the price alone. The same illustration is under the puzzle piece, so if pieces get lost, the book is still functional. The puzzle is simple and durable and the little track on it with the moving bunny is brilliant! Update: We lost the bunny, but we still love the book. My 22 month old pulls it out at least weekly and likes to take the pieces out and put them back in while chattering about the animals and the pictures.
I love these books. I got another one when my daughter turned 2 and within 3 weeks she was able to put the puzzle together by her self. Shes now 3 and still plays with it and we saw this one for $6 and had to grab it. she tries mixing the puzzles. she just loves these books/puzzle/racetrack. she can put the both together and put them back into the book without assistance.
It was giving to my son has a gift. The book is recommended for a 3yrs old and up. When I finish reading it and playing with it, I place it where my 2yrs old son don't reach. I dont want any of the pieces to go missing. I most likely will buy it for someone else.
