I bought it having very little knowledge of the subject at hand and read it word by word for a thorough introduction to and understanding if this stone of heaven! I refer to it often as I have a beginner's collection of pendants and bracelets and this book plus some gemologist tools have helped in establishing exactly what I have. It has stimulated my interest in the Chinese history and heritage.
