Pollet has created a believable set of characters who experience nasty, spiteful behavior that most girls over the age . This reminds me of a lot of 7th graders in the world. I think if you read this book before middle school, it will prepare you for it even though it is a fiction book.

Pollet has created a believable set of characters who experience nasty, spiteful behavior that most girls over the age of 12 will easily recognize, and her perceptive, often humorous story is sure to be welcomed by readers approaching, as well as those stuck in, seventh grade. I would recommend this book for girl's ages 9-13 years old. I thought that this was a really good book. This is a really neat plot and it is from a long time ago.

The book " Nobody Was Here," is a great book for children or adults of any age. I am not a big reader but this book was definetly a page turner. Immersed in Penelope's world, I truly felt like I was back in seventh grade again.
