He picked up a picture book called Wombat Goes Walkabout. The wombat in question is an abandoned marsupial. Separated from his mother, he wanders around, meeting a variety of Australian animals (and an aboriginal boy) who ask what he can do. Not much, says Wombat. Isn't that a great name? We met on Saturday night and hit it off right away. She paused, then said with deep significance, "He's a director. Never heard of him," said Fran. I'd been sternly warned by, of all people, Fran, who gave me the good oil about Beverly Hills. Apparently it wasn't like other places in Los Angeles. Read various fiction books with us in our e-reader. I don’t want to read about people who just go with the flow and don’t experience any human emotions. Jay says: Good God, what was that? I just finished reading ‘Opal’ a few minutes ago and I’m totally mind blown. I also love Jennifer Armentrout’s writing style, which is very fun and witty. I’m currently marathon reading the series, something I hadn’t done in a while. These books are perfect for that kind of thing. You fly through them.
