Andrew’s Loose Tooth. Written by Robert Munsch. Illustrated by Michael Martchenko. It went over very well and I started to use it whenever I told stories to grades one, two or three, where lots of kids have loose teeth.

Andrew’s Loose Tooth. Published by Scholastic Canada, 1998. I made up this story in Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan in 1982 for a kid with 4 missing front teeth. I had never kept track of the original kid whom the story was about, so I decided to use my son Andrew, who never liked it when I tried to pull out his loose teeth.

My grandchildren really enjoy this story. For kids, who are in those losing-my-teeth-years, it's a lot of fun to read about the crazy adult attempts to pull the tooth.,
