I have read many of Chris Wiltz's books, and I like her writing style. A Diamond Before You Die is the second in the Neal Rafferty New Orleans Series. The story really flowed well, and very good visual writing style of all the places and events that take place in New Orleans (Mardi Gras, etc.). A pretty good whodunit Mystery. Look forward to reading The Emerald Lizard next!

Even though I found this book fairly predictable, it was a good read. I appreciate the authors ability to develop the characters. He is good with descriptives. I would read another of his books. This was well written.
