I purchased this book for a couple friends who are embarking on the next stage of their journey after retirement... cruising around in an RV... I'm hoping this book will give them some travel ideas! By the way, the hard cover version of this book is about 2 inches thick and 12 inches long and heavy (in case that matters) lots of super-sweet black and white photos but no color photos; plus excellent stories with background history and myths to read!!

This is a huge book but so full of interesting stories! Definitely one I'm reading cover to cover and will refer to in the future.

Great book and in very good condition. Copyright was an older date than I thought it would be, however there probably aren't a lot of new ghost towns. Very pleased with the book.
