Hugh Boulter (4 January 1672 – 27 September 1742) was the Church of Ireland Archbishop of Armagh, the Primate of All Ireland, from 1724 until his death. He also served as the chaplain to George I from 1719.

Boulter was born in London, son of John Boulter, described as a man of "good reputation and estate", and was educated at Merchant Taylors' School before attending Christ Church, Oxford. However, after only a year at Christ Church he transferred to Magdalen College.

Jenkins started this book, I think, as an article for National Geographic, which I'd sort of like to track down. Anyway, A Walk Across America is a very interesting book, but it's not the best book. In her book Wanderlust: A History of Walking, Rebecca Solnit has a perceptive precis of the book - but it is perhaps overly dismissive of too.

By the time I moved to Los Angeles a year or so later, I was a dedicated Wilson reader, and since those early days I’ve had the great pleasure of visiting him in his home in Cornwall several times, and of writing about his work (see, for example, my book A Secret History of Consciousness (2003)). Ron Wilson (born February 16) is an American comics artist known for his work on comic books starring the Marvel Comics character The Thing, including the titles Marvel Two-in-One and The Thing. Wilson spent eleven years, from 1975 to 1986, chronicling The Thing's adventures through different comic titles. He co-created the Wolfpack characters with writer Larry Hama. Ron Wilson was born in Brooklyn, New York and grew up in the Canarsie neighborhood.
