Henry Tischler received his bachelor's degree from Temple University and his masters and doctorate degrees from Northeastern University. A professor at Framingham State College in Framingham, Massachusetts, for more than two decades, he continues to teach introductory sociology every year. He has also been a Visiting Professor at Montclair State University, and Tufts University. This book gives you the basics of sociology and what I like about it is that it'll explain something in sociology-terms, but gives you examples that you can relate to and understand.
