I know I was getting a used book in "good condition" for my American Government class but I didn't expect it to have a large amount of water damage to the book, so much so that I doubt I will get anything for trying to re sell the book.

Fred Roy Harris (born November 13, 1930) is a former Democratic United States Senator from the state of Oklahoma. Born in Walters, Oklahoma, Harris won election to the Oklahoma Senate after graduating from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. He ousted an appointed . Senate incumbent J. Howard Edmondson and won a 1964 special election to succeed Robert S. Kerr, narrowly defeating football coach Bud Wilkinson.

Fred Roy Harris is an American political scientist, educator and author. He is a former United States Senator from Oklahoma. After 1976, he became a professor at the University of New Mexico. After Kerr's death on January 1, 1963, Gov. J. Howard Edmondson resigned to serve, by appointment, as . senator until the next state and national election. At the Democratic primary on May 5, 1964, he out-polled Harris, former governor Raymond Gary, and a minor candidate (Willard Owens). Since no candidate had a majority, a run-off between the two top contenders was required.
