This is an amazing book. I would recommend it to anyone that has Trust issues after trauma as well as those that are trying to deal with someone who has been traumatized. The book is written with great compassion and understanding of the issues of those trying to deal with trauma in their lives, both those that have been traumatized and those that are effected by those who are traumatized. It's a great read. One of the best ones out there.

I really love & appreciate Aphrodite Matsakis. As in her other book, I Can't Get Over It, she is very compassionate & kind, yet very detailed regarding the process of recovery. I would recommend it.

Visually, the book's condition matches the description, but it wreaks of cigarette smoke which makes it difficult to read. Not enjoyable.

Because family and friends of some one who has experienced trauma and/or PTSD, LEGAL ABUSE needs to truly begin to understand at least intellectually the struggle that one goes through. It's hell, trauma. Few fully understand, especially legal abuse.
This book is the follow-up to WHY CAN'T I GET OVER IT? Even though these 2 books were published a few years ago and don't have the latest info regarding new treatment techniques for emotional trauma, they contain the keys for understanding, accepting, and supporting people who have been traumatized from war; rape; physical and/or emotional abuse; or any other traumatic event(s) that cause(s) damage to a human being.
