Amazing book! Every overweight person should read this. Enlightening and freeing.

As my title suggests, I wasn't a huge fan of this book. Stephen covers all sorts of appetites in this book: sexual appetite, eating appetite, work appetite, etc and basically says just focus on God. That's fine and all, but for people really struggling with a particular appetite, I think you need a much more "appetite" specific book.

If you're struggling with an appetite for pornography, lust etc, I don't recommend this book. Read his other book, Every Man's Battle which is considered the owners manual for that appetite. It is much more specific on how to deal with those issues than anything I found in this book.

Never received the product and there was absolutly no way to contact customer service or anyone for reconsiliation.

Another terrific volume by a serious and dedicated Christian counselor. I have enjoyed every book this man has ever written, this one is no exception. A must-read for sure!

I've read it all before in several other books. But if you've never read the other books then you might be able to get something from this book, but I doubt it. I'd suggest you go to dobson books on this subject or Authers with more experience. She does not have near the experience she needs to be writing about the subjects she seems to have authority on.
