Sarah Ferguson, The Duchess of York, is the author of several children’s books, including Ballerina Rosie; Tea for Ruby, illustrated by Robin Preiss Glasser; and the Little Red series as well as a memoir, Finding Sarah. The Duchess is a devoted spokesperson for many charitable organizations, including Changes for Children. She has two daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

I had to be the best fun, the most generous, because obviously no one could like Sarah for who she really was. As for keeping my businesses alive, I had no idea how I would come up with the money, since at the time I was seriously about to go bankrupt. Financial rescue seemed in sight when my friend-the person who could not make his college expenses-and I learned that a mutual friend of ours could introduce me to an investor who would help me.

Sarah, Duchess of York (born Sarah Margaret Ferguson 15 October 1959), known as Fergie, is the former wife of Prince Andrew, Duke of York, the second son of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. They have two daughters, Princesses. They have two daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie. Although Sarah and Andrew divorced in 1996, she has remained friendly with both him and the Queen, despite a controversial business life. Sarah is also active as a writer, charity patron, film producer, and television personality.

Book by Sarah Ferguson . Instead, she cut a deal with Oprah Winfrey to go on a journey of self-discovery, with a camera crew capturing her every moment. The result is a miniseries and this book, which lays bare some of her most painful memories and feelings, especially her realization of how much she’d hurt her fiercely loyal daughters Beatrice and Eugenie. How could they possibly love Fergie for behaving in such a way, she wrote. I feel I have let so many down.

An inspirational memoir from New York Times bestselling author Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, who, after hitting rock bottom, gathered the strength to put her life back together.More than a year ago my life was so off course that I wondered whether I would ever be able to find my way back. I was broken and lost, not even sure where I was, but out of this emotional barrenness I knew I had to find me. And so, I took a journey to find myself and begin the process of healing all the broken places. Finding Sarah is the story of that journey. So begins this extraordinarily personal memoir by Sarah Ferguson, The Duchess of York. She knows, firsthand, what it means to feel lost and she also knows that it is never too late to find your way back, to attain your goal, to take back control of your life and to make a special dream come true. Through intimate diary excerpts and personal emails from friends and family, Sarah opens herself unsparingly. On every page of this book you will hear from her “real-life angels”—Dr. Phil McGraw, Suze Orman, Martha Beck, and many more—as they help her get to the root of her problems, from comfort eating to self-loathing, from reckless overspending to notorious mishaps. Sarah hopes that her experiences will inspire you to look closely at your own life and how you wish to improve it, then encourage you to follow your instincts and find your true path. Sarah Ferguson did, and so can you.

I enjoyed the book and she has been through a lot and came through many trials. I am waiting for, or wanting to write the self help book where you really have, "no money", no place to stay, nothing to drive, no friends, no family, no endorsements and no way of traveling the world or calling Oprah. If you can call or write Oprah you have a means of survival.

I do not deny her troubles, her pain and all that she went through. I am glad she shared what she went through and how she overcame it all. At the time I read the book, I had just lost a good job, my health, my family disowned me, my friends betrayed me, I had no money, I suffer from chronic pain. I did not qualify for homeless shelters or any shelter or assistance and tried to kill myself because I had nowhere, I mean nowhere to go and I was reading about her trying to convince me as the reader how she was bankrupt and basically in the same position as me.

This book is the companion book to the television series that ran on the Oprah Network a few years ago. I feel so sad for Sarah Ferguson after reading this book. I got the sense that she is still searching for peace and meaning in her life but--even at the end of the book--has not found it yet. I pray that she does find the answer to life's most important questions and find hope and healing for her life. She has been through so much. You do have to admire her for not quitting or giving up.

Don't bother. Another excuse for Sarah after she has screwed up AGAIN. I can fix her problems quickly - take responsibility for your screwups and stop blaming others for your mistakes.

I truly enjoyed reading Sarah's story. I have been through a difficult life journey myself and empathize with Sarah's many ups and downs as she learned how to live her life to be her best self. I, myself, am in the middle of my own journey to wholeness and truly appreciate the support I gain from reading stories that inspire me to continue moving forward. I loved that Sarah could share in such detail. I could 'feel' her sadness, discontent, pain, beauty, and determination to succeed. I needed to read this story. Thank you, Sarah! Love for you to read my story and love to meet you in person. Wishing you all my best! You are an inspiration....please know that it takes a painful period to upright yourself to become your best self! This I know for sure because I, too, have made mistakes in trust. I should've trusted my instincts, too! Be happy! Be well! Stay focused on your continued journey...Karen Overhill
It was neat to see some one who did some thing that I had done also. I also have 10 years sober, and know myself very well.
