This is as satisfying as "Miracle of Love" (by Ram Dass), for anyone looking for more stories about Maharajii. In fact, there are several stories in here that flesh out many of the entries in"Miracle of Love"--so it's satisfying to get a fuller picture of context. I bought this in Kindle format, which was fine--but there were enough photos in here that I would've liked to see them in actual print format.

A welcome perspective on the life of Neem Karoli Baba. This is a very down-to-earth narration told from the perspective of a close and life-long devotee and personal attendant of the saint. Does not contain the 'rah-rah' material from people who are obsessed with miracles like many of the other biographies about Maharaji. I really appreciate the years-long journey as well as the personal transformation of Dada and his family.

The stream of pure love that emerges from a true devotee's heart is priceless and can be felt penetrating the deepest recesses of the heart of anyone who comes in touch with such a soul. Neem Karoli Baba has come alive through this beautiful account of his life by Dada. May the divine bond of Guru and Shishya stay eternal. May the divine love shine within our hearts. May the Guru bless us. May we all live in love and die in peace. Amen.

Whether you're an old Maharaj-ji inspiree or a new one, these stories are just so wonderful, and written in the truly and humbly heart felt manner of a old time devotee, who also happens to be a real mensch. It's easy to relate with Dada as an actual, ordinary, accessible human being, which makes his stories that much more immediate and meaningful. And of course getting to "be" with Maharaj-ji through the stories is a great privilege and blessing. Enjoy!

If you read one book about Neem Karoli Baba, I would recommend this one. It's such an intimate and heartfelt story told from the perspective of a native Indian devotee who spent so much time with Baba. I go back to this beautiful book again and again.
