Everything James Allen 1864-1912 wrote is a gem on good thinking. His writings are in plain English. He will teach anyone how to straighten out his/her life by simply working at changing their everyday thinking. He convinces you that you, the individual, are the maker of your life, no matter how low you have fallen. And you are retrievable.

"All These Things Added" is a good book. "As A Man Thinketh" is deservedly his most popular. (<Devorss & Co of this is printed in a handy form). "From Poverty to Power" is another great one. Look for original versions of Allen's books that are not changed by co-authors expounding on James Allen. James writes plainly enough. You will do your own thinking. You don't have to be religious either. He is for everyone.

You won't waste time with any of his 20 some books on good thinking. I am convinced that England should be known for two people, William Shakespeare and James Allen.
