Most of us like to think of ourselves as nice people, but sometimes we have to say no to people and situations that do not serve our higher purpose: say no to purchases of material items you don’t need that are just going to clutter your home or office and require dusting and maintenance. say no to social invitations when you’re already behind on your sleep and your other self-care protocols. But in the age of increasing abstraction, we can become so overwhelmed that we lose our ability to see our daily lives in a practical way. When this happens, we go into information overload and everything is put on a level playing field – filed away under the catch-all category of tasks.

Was disappointed. Was hoping to find practical info that I could put into practice. Book is mainly an advertisement for a therapy. Almost at the end the book it says "This book not meant for a self help manual" Would have saved me a couple hours of reading. I kept reading hoping the info was just around the corner, only to be disappointed at the end of the book. Glad I did not pay too much for the book, seeing the whole book is available online for free [search "stutter no more" ] Just wish I could get my hours of wasted time back.
