I keep hoping she will take the time to update it and rerelease it.

the book arrived quicker than expected and was in near perfect condition!!! I am VERY pleased

Mind you this was in the early 80's when society still said it "wasn't OK" for a woman to be strong at all, and women medical doctors were also extremely rare-- so it was delightfully subversive as well as offering to help the woman who wanted to be truly fit, with advice from someone who truly ought to know.

I wasted no time in buying it and found it to be a completely-rounded how-to manual on how to be strong and healthy.
Not only the exercises themselves, but also the dietary advice. Everything I learned from that book, I've used in my life ever since. That was 33 years ago and the payoff to my health has been immense.

If you are a girl in your teens and are searching for how to be lean, fit, and how to keep your health and good looks all your life, get this book NOW and start using its teachings. It will pay for itself hundreds of times over. (Oh, and remember that the photos in the fashion magazines are Photoshopped and airbrushed. The pictures of Dr. Pirie in this book are how a REAL lean, fit woman looks.)

Every woman interested in weightlifting should own a copy of this one. I keep hoping she will take the time to update it and rerelease it. This is far superior to Arnold's book on weightlifting.
