The images are small, and do not enlarge. The images are not close to the paragraph that you are reading making more difficult to relate the words to the images. I ended up googleing the subject to get worthwhile images.

As a retina specialist I can say that is a good book for residents in ophthalmology but it would be short for sub specialty
