I discovered this book for myself after internet searches showed this book explained things that I couldn't find explicitly written in other places (i.e. cause of some artifacts seen in rare cases when equipment is installed incorrectly). This was the only literature I could find to confirm my findings with no ambiguity. The rest of the book is clearly written and fully explains concepts. Very useful when planning lectures.

Great book! I had the privilege of taking Manbir Singh's (one of the book's co-authors) ungraduate and graduate level medical imaging classes at the University of Southern California before he passed away.

One of Gold books in Medical imaging. Somewhat old but is still an authentic reference. I would strongly recommend this book to anyone interested in Medical imaging.
