If you have plenty of time to prepare for the exam, this is an interesting read. But honestly, you're better off with the E&E (which I also purchased). The E&E provides a much more comprehensive review. The hypos in this book are very topic specific and not great for issue spotting. I would not buy again.

My professor told our Fed Tax Class that absolutely everything we covered in class was going to be on the final. That is not a surprise to hear, but the daunting question is, "How is he going to frame the questions so that I can give him all the information that I just spent months learning?" If you read these detailed example questions and write, and re-write the answers, many times, you will have it. I was not surprised by the questions on my final, I felt like I had already answered all of the questions before. I was able to tackle every question with confidence, instead of feeling overwhelmed. I actually left the testing room, four hours later, mentally exhausted but confident that I had thoroughly answered everything.
