The many small simple graphics projects can also be used in courses in geometry, graphics, or general mathematics. Code for many of the illustrations is included, and can be downloaded from the book's web site: ww. ath. ca/~Mathematicians; scientists, engineers, and even graphic designers seeking help in creating technical illustrations need look no further.

The current version has been published as a book of about 350 pages by Cambridge University Press. By agreement with the Press, however, it will remain posted on this web site. Many improvements in the current version over previous ones are due to the (anonymous) referees of the Press, whom I wish to thank heartily.

Casselman's book certainly does its best to address the two topics of geometry and PostScript, and in this respect it is excellent. This book is a wonderful compilation of ideas from elementary euclidean geometry (in 2 and 3 dimensions) computer graphics (postscript) and aesthetics. The material is presented in an extremely lucid style. In my opinion the author masterfully shows how we can combine simple geometric ideas and a computer graphics to create beautiful text and pictures.
