Start by marking Principles of Anatomy and Physiology, Learning . I'm using this book for my Anatomy and Physiology class and as far as text books go this one is pretty good

Start by marking Principles of Anatomy and Physiology, Learning Guide as Want to Read: Want to Read savin. ant to Read. Tortora's is sufficient if you want to combine anatomy and physiology in one textbook. But if you go with a separate anatomy textbook, I think Moore's is great. Although if you decide on Moore, it might be better to get Baby Moore which is less detailed. I'm using this book for my Anatomy and Physiology class and as far as text books go this one is pretty good. I find it informative, easy to use and interesting. Also I appreciate all the anecdotes that relate it to real life and current clinical practices.

Nicholas P. Anagnostakos, Gerard J. Tortora, Sandra Reynolds Grabowski. The product of many years teaching experience, this book provides a balance between anatomy and physiology while emphasizing correlations between normal physiology and pathophysiology, normal anatomy and pathology, and homeostasis and homeostatic imbalances. The pack contains carefully integrated learning aids, such as pronunciations, word roots, summary tables, and cross references complement the readable narrative. It includes "Altas of Human Skeleton" and student CD-ROM.
