At long last a heroine who was truly beautiful, very accomplished and strong, who was in no way overshadow by all of the hero's over the top attributes. And on top of that the hero had not commitment issues, and love her dearly. I was in seventh heaven over the scenario, so rare in romance books, but so love by me. Unfortunately my joy did not last long. SPOILER ALERT BELOW:

Long before the half way mark of this story, the heroine is severely scarred from head to toe by small pox. I get it that the point of this particular story was about a heroine who wanted to be love for more than her beauty. And she surely got her wish, but what a terrible price to pay, by losing said beauty, and being horribly scarred for life. I must have terrible luck when choosing my books, for so often the heroines are scarred during the progression of the story, a theme that I personally detest. END OF SPOILER ALERT.

Please note that I want to offend noone when I am very specific as to why I did not like a book. Is my way of allowing readers if they so choose to read the spoiler, about aspects in a book I hated and that they might hate too, and if so they can avoid said story, and if they like the scenario described in the spoiler alert they can of course buy the book. And finally,if they do not want to know one way or the other, they can always not read the spoilers. As for me, I desperately wish there were more spoilers in reviews in general, to save me from spending my money & time in stories I could never, ever enjoy, even a little bit, such as in the case of "Quicksilver Passion".

Summery: Silver is a woman of exceptional beauty and the owner of a tavern in Buckskin Joe, Colorado. She sings, she dances, but she never lets a man touch her.
Thanks to his father running off with a whore and his experience with a friends wife who was supposedly a southern lady, Cherokee Evans believes all white women are whores and can be bought.

I'll admit I got a little annoyed with these two with there constant misconceptions about each other. Still, I enjoyed this one and I can see myself reading it again in the future.

Most of her books are related to each other, but some of the ones most related to this one are...
-Warrior's Prize: Keso & Waanibe's story.
-Cheyenne Captive & Cheyenne Splendor are both about Iron Knife and Summer.
-Bandit's Embrace: Find out what happens to Pettigrew & Big 'Un after the Civil War.
-Half-Breed's Bride: Find out what happened to Lulu, the woman Cherokee's father abandoned his family for.

Good story! Really enjoyed it and hated to put it down because I wanted to see what would happen next! I also enjoy the author's writing style.

I enjoyed reading this book. It told a very good story of life in the 1800's. It covered many things about that time period.
