A Love for All Time book. Conn O'Malley is an Irish rogue no woman can resist  . I love that Bertrice Small doesn't write your typical swooning lead females, and Aidan doesn't disappoint in this book. She is smart, witty, well educated and This was the first book I discovered from the Skye O'Malley Saga. I admit, I first picked it up in middle school to annoy my parents - they didn't like me reading anything with sex scenes. I didn't anticipate falling in love with it! I've always been able to identify with the heroine, Aidan, having been a wallflower myself for a long time.

I LOVED IT!!! Published by Thriftbooks. com User, 19 years ago. Ms. Small shows us how she turns "the handsomest man in Queen Elizabeth's court" into a loving and devoted husband. I loved reading about Conn's stopping at nothing to get the love of his life back where she belonged. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves reading about England during the 1500's.

I absolutely loved this book, especially as I had read the two previous books in the Skye O'Malley series. Even though this story can stand alone it has so much more meaning if you have read the Skye O'Malley Saga from the first book. I love the way Bertrice Small interweaves her fictional characters with the real historical people of the time. Just when you think everything in the adventure is over and you are now at "Happily Ever After" time, the plot thickens and your are on to more wonderful adventure. It is hard to lay the book down. I am now reading the fourth book in the saga.

This review is for people who have already read the first books in this series. This book and it's characters started out very enjoyable; Conn was a very likeable gentleman & Aiden was a sweetheart. They seemed a good match & their romance was true.

Unfortunately, as the plot got underway, the book followed the original "Skye O'Malley" so closely it became predictable. It was almost boring to read b/c Aiden had endured almost the same journey as Skye. Reading this the second time around wasn't as thrilling or nerve-racking. I know loyal fans are blinded by their love for the author, but this is a skippable story in the series, IMHO.

Keep on writing and I'll keep on reading. You did it again. A great book.

The book is classic Bertrice Small. I have enjoyed every book of hers that I have read, I carry one of her books with me everywhere I go. With my kindle I can pick up and go any time with all of her books, so I dont have to worry about what to read when I finish one.
Liked it very much
