I liked it. My only complaint was when she switched scenes in the middle of a page. At least space it out or dash or something.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Just enough humor to keep me laughing. Marie Merrarella's writing is wonderful. I have two others of this series, and keep looking for the final brother's book. But "The Bride With No Name" was by far the best of the three I have.

Marie Ferrarella is another author on my favorites list. She tells a story well.

When Trevor Marlowe saves the life of a woman he sees floundering in the sea, the last thing he expects is rudeness. But that is what he gets. The woman comes to while Trevor is giving her CPR. With his hands all over her...well, you get the drift. The woman can't remember her own name nor why she was out there in the first place. What she does realize is that Trevor saved her life, and for that she owes him. But, with no ID, no money, and confused thoughts, she has no idea what her next move will be.
I loved this story from beginning to end. This is book #2 of the Kate's boys series. The original book that started it all is Mother for Hire (1999). Four boys (one older, and a set of triplets). Oh yes, and a younger sister named Kelsey (The last book in the series). This 6 book family series is full of love, support, humor, and sibling squabbles. What's not to like about it? The dialog in the story moves along seamlessly. You start reading, and before you know it, you've reached the end. I love a book that holds your attention to the point where you just really don't want to put it down. I have read 4 of the 6 in this series, and of course, out of order. It doesn't seem to matter. Each story is unto itself. The dialog is witty, with lots of humor, compassion, and paints a picture of a very close, caring family.
As Trevor helps 'Venus' (name given by him because she can't remember hers), they both realize the attraction between them and all they have in common. A wonderful love story that you won't soon forget. Don't forget the other books in the series. They are all good.

First off, I've got to stop reading books with chefs as characters. They make me hungry!

OK, so we've got Trevor. He's a triplet, I gather, and a chef. There's some back story about his triplet-ness, which probably is fully explained in all the books in this SERIES. But this one stands alone outside that. The few questions I had were ok unanswered, and there's enough of the side characters not to feel cheated, or to make you have to read the rest of the books.

Back to this one. Trevor's out on the beach, and he barely saves this woman from the depths. During a storm. When she comes out of it, she doesn't even remember her name.

Though the plot starts very much like one of my old favorites, Nora Roberts "For the Love of Lilah", the story is actually quite different. Venus, as Trevor names this unknown heroine, is smart and makes her way in the world. The mystery of her background is solved only at the very end of the book, and almost as a side note!

Instead, we get to have her discover herself and him all at the same time. Though he has feelings for her, he waits. The story covers a fairly good amount of time, carrying the plot.

The writing is clear and direct, and the characters are strong, and the plot pretty good.

I enjoyed it!
