I have never given a gift that brought more joy than these blueprints. My husband grew up an avid Star Trek TNG fan. He once owned these blueprints as a child, but lost them when his family moved across country as a teenager.
I was so happy to find a set that had never been opened! The blueprints are large and VERY DETAILED! You get multiple cross sections of the Enterprise D, a blueprint of each deck, and it is filled to the brim with tiny details of the ship that you don't get to see on the show! Sick Bay, for instance, is monstrously huge. There are aquariums on the ship, you see the rooms of the main cast. It's a Star Trek lovers' dream.
This was a great gift and I highly recommend giving it to the Star Trek fan in your life.

I have never been a fan of Star Trek until recently, although I was of the original series. About six months ago I got all the other series in Star Trek at a very low shop sale, so I decided to get them.

I have had the blueprints to the original series since the 1960s (I think) when they came out in America, so I decided to buy this lot of blueprints to see what they were like, and I was not disappointed.

I was still amazed by the detail with which has gone into them, but when you understand that Star Trek is a world of its own, it deserves all the attention to detail that it merits.

This set of blueprints comes in a beautifully illustrated box, with a 16 page booklet explaining how they came together and how the prints ended up as. The blueprints themselves are depicted in 13 large sheets that fold up, and point out every aspect of the life that people lead when they leave Earth for a life the rest of us can only dream of. Life on the Enterprise had every part of human life that they had on Earth, except it was on a large Starship.

Since I owned the original series blueprints, they hold no wonder for me, but anyone new to Star Trek or who doesn't own any blueprints to the Star Trek world, should consider obtaining them, as they make an excellent addition to a collection.

I give this set of blueprints 5 stars and would suggest that any fan to obtain them as they will help to understand the detail of which Gene Roddenberry and the producers went to to create a world of the future, that may one day, become a reality.

You need to be a trekker to want these, but the way the room quieted over the night I admitted I had these in storage when a friend brought them up randomly - well, poring over the decks of the Enterprise D, realizing the saucer section is hollow, finding the dolphin tanks and trying to figure out how far Geordi's is from Data's (spoiler: what are the odds they are neighbors?) Yeah, go ahead and clear the table. These giant sheets deserve all the room you can throw at them.

A wonderful discussion about some of the aspects most viewers of the show will never know/understand. And then the blueprints themselves: detailed to the point of absurdity! And quite surprising, too. (I expected less Holodecks & gymnasiums, more crew quarters and transporters, and a much smaller Main Shuttlebay.) I would have liked similar detail on the warp nacelles, but eh, it happens. Having one blueprint with a legend was a nice touch.

For most, this may be a "stays-on-the-shelf" kind of thing, but I know for sure I will open it again and again. Like where was that performance hall used for concerts and Riker's dramatic play? Excuse me; time to go find it...

I haven't quite opened this up all the way, but judging by the contents, any Star Trek fan would be extremely pleased with the way the Enterprise D (NCC-1701-D) has been laid out in quite the detail. I couldn't bring myself to tear it all open, so I've kept it in its package, but for the price I paid, I'm one happy Trekker/Trekkie.

Just what I wanted for a great price. Box was crushed is the only reason it doesn't get 5 stars

The blueprints were first rate in all respects.
awesome idea. Great detail. Box was a little damaged on binding. Might have happened in shipping.
