Pam Rehm was born and raised in a German farming community in central Pennsylvania. Rehm is the author of numerous other poetry collections, including To Give It Up (1995), which was chosen by Barbara Guest for the National Poetry Series; Gone to Earth (2001); Small Works (2005); and The Larger Nature (2011). Her work has been featured in An Anthology of New (American) Poets (1998), The Best American Poetry (2002), and The Grand Permission: New Writings on Poetics and Motherhood (2003).
