Mind control. Mysteries of the Orient. One character controls the mind of another in an effort to marry the woman of his choice.

A really good read. The style of writing and the dialogues are of high quality. The characters not only portray strength, courage, and honour which I admired greatly, but also display the weakness and struggles we all are likely to face in real life.

The story is engaging and the flow succinct, without bloats or pads in between. It is kind of hard to stop once you're started, and I finished reading the entire book in just a couple of days.

At the back of my mind, I want to come back to read this book a second time... and even after I already know the story, it shall still be enjoyable nevertheless.

The story was pretty run of the mill. Good thing it was a free download or I would have been even less thrilled with it. If you enjoy historical fiction set in Victorian England with a metaphysical twist, then you will probably like this book.

Old English mystery novel. Set in the late 1800's. A bit tedious in places, as is typical of this genre. Writing style is typical of this genre also.
