Although written sometime ago, this classic on Celtic nature poetry continues to capture the amazing poetry of early hermits in Ireland and Wales. It describes vividly all the sights and sounds of living in the beauty of their landscape. I know of no other book like it, and am grateful to Kenneth Jackson for writing it. As I have studied the nature poetry of Asian faiths, I see what those traditions have in common with the Irish and the Welsh.
