Many years ago, I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Mr. Rhodes in person. He was a pleasure to visit with. And, so my husband and I purchased one of his books. I was immediately drawn to his story teller style. I was reminded of Louis L'Amour, whom I also read. But, this book will also be special. My father gave me this book, as he is also a fan. I could picture the valley described and felt the story rise from the pages. It was truly a tale that I was glad to add to my library.
