This book reminded me of that movie from a few years ago called The Butterfly Effect.

Here's the story:

Jordan discovers that he can jump from the current place and time in his life into any time, past or future. He simply imagines himself at a certain age and opens his eyes at that point in his life.
The very first time this happens he is six and imagining himself as an adult. He opens his eyes and he is in the body of himself at 26 years old, on a bus. This is where he first meets Kenzie, who has a scarred face and a life that she didn't seem to be quite satisfied with. She is kind to him and helps him to find his home. He feels connected to her from that point on and vows to make her life better in every way.

I really like this book, it accomplished what many books have failed to do for me in a very long time. It kept me guessing!

There was only one problem with this book, an error right in the beginning, at least I think so. Kenzie says she has known him since she was six, yet she first met him at age.... Remember that? I think she really has known him since she was four. He was six, she was four. Even so, this was an excellent read, perfect for curling up with in front of the fireplace on a rainy/snowy day. When I picked this book up, I thought to myself that this could potentially get quite confusing with all the jumping from one time to the next, but the author did an excellent job of keeping everything straight, except for that bit in the beginning. I loved what Jordan did for his mother and for Kenzie, and yet, when Kenzie finds out about everything she is at first furious with him for not allowing her to determine her own life. It would have been nice for the author to give us a better explanation for how the shifting all started for Jordan; why, at age six he should suddenly come into his talent. The story doesn't suffer for lack of an explanation for this. There's great potential for a sequel because of what Molly can do, though, and I'm hoping it's in the works!

This was a really good paranormal book. Good storyline. The characters are great. It keeps you reading, I couldn't put it down.

to read more from these authors. The story involves time travel, love, and what happens when the future is "tweaked" to make things better. The two main characters are both people you'd love to know in real life, and their adventure is meted out a little at a time. I really enjoyed the style the book was written in----I LOVED the ending---and I want to read more from the authors. Highly recommended.

Ok, I just finished reading this one. It was difficult for me to get involved in the story because it's about time travel and although the author separates "time" by the font of the book and labels what date/year the story is at, I just found it difficult to follow in the beginning. As I continued through the book I finally gave up on trying to understand what year it was and just read the story - that made it easier. For me the story was interesting but predictable. Certainly not as good as Feather and Guardian but a good, quick read. There was also grammatical errors in the book which tends to drive me crazy. Abra Ebner please get someone to proof your work!

This is an amazing story! I received the book and literally could not put it down till I was finished. It is so addicting. It does involve time travel. But the author lays it out in front of you step by step. I didn't find it confusing at all. It all made sense. As the reader you are desperate to figure out all the clues. This book is captivating! A must read!

I have been privileged to receive some early chapters of Parallel from the author and am now eagerly awaiting my book, the story is very intriguing with the same romantic overtones I love from this author of the Feather Series. The kinship I find so endearing in her characters. I'm waiting for Raven, but I'm happy reading Parallel - it's a new twist on Abra's writing - love the cover, reader's discover the character! Now to finish this wonderful book!. . . . . . .
This is a great book. I got the product on time and this is another great book by Abra.
