just one girl
I love these books about normal people living fairly normal lives and having some of the problems we all have, As I read I find myself getting annoyed with some characters, sharing the joy of others and becoming totally immersed in how their lives unfold. Just right for a relaxing, losing yourself in a book session. This was one of the best.
I am a big fan of Patricia Scanlon as she transports me home when I am far away. I can visualize the towns, families and the goings on vividly as it is Irish life at its best.
Another wonderful book from my new fave author! Just loved the interaction between the women.. their strengths, their weaknesses.. couldn’t put it down !
4 friends from different back grounds, I liked the timeline going back into each childhood etc, makes you reflect upon your own and why we turn out like we do
