The first attempt by the IPR for a code of ethics was in the form of a 'Statement of Standards' issued in 1949, which did not provide specific duties for members or methods for ensuring transparency (L'Etang, 2004).
In my opinion it is one of the best books on the period. After studying under Howard Martin for several years the use of his book helpped my gain a grade B in my history AS level
