Great & interesting book. My great great grandfather was the owner oh Howard's Halfway House which is described in the book.

This is an excellent book for researching early pioneers to New Netherland (New York) beginning in the 1600s, and gives quite a bit of detail. New Lots was settled by pioneers from other neighboring settlements.
