Ford Racing Century for the most part chronicles Ford Racing in the 20th Century, beginning with the old man squaring off against Winton and, subsequently, raising the necessary funds to start Ford Motor Company.

As noted in Ford Racing Century's earliest pages, Ford Motor Company would not exist today if not for Henry Ford having raced, and won, in the 20th Century's earliest years.

A superb book researched, compiled and written by authors deeply familiar with racing, it tells Ford's racing stories, mostly by wonderful, lush pictures that often catch more of the action than any author might compliment with words.

Yet, Ford Racing Century does supply needed factoids to tell the whole story.

While the title, "Ford Racing Century," certainly says "Ford," its pages have many, many other car types and venues with and at which Fords were found -- the pictures and stories didn't exclude those "other" cars. This book will prove a rich resource for anyone who enjoys racing, no matter "favorites."
