Raw for Dessert will speak for itself proudly and in Raw Food Made Easy, we especially love the zucchini pasta al pesto (pg 120) and the "zucchini spaghetti" with marinara sauce (page 65). You can't tell the zucchini pasta this slicer creates from regular pasta.

Let me start off by saying that I am not a raw foodie, I am vegan, but I am ALWAYS looking for new desserts that are not complicated to make and take virtually no time to put together. This book is it. I made the chocolate cake with fudge frosting and it was THE BEST chocolate cake I have ever had!! All of the recipes are very easy to follow and the author does a great job of explaining step by step with each recipe. I also like how she has at the very beginning of the book an explanation of all the ingredients and some of the equipment you'll need (which is basically your standard food processor). I like too that a lot of the frosting's and crusts used will keep in the freezer (no need to thaw before use) for up to 2 months! I never knew too how easy almond milk was to make along with my favorites pistachio ice cream (vegan and raw or course). I thought making vegan desserts was easy and delicious, but WOW!, raw food desserts is pretty fabulous too!

Raw for Dessert will speak for itself proudly and in Raw Food Made Easy, we especially love the zucchini pasta al pesto (pg 120) and the "zucchini spaghetti" with marinara sauce (page 65). You can't tell the zucchini pasta this slicer creates from regular pasta. The "slicer" has different type blades and cleanup is a breeze, which was my concern. On page 160 of Raw Food..., there is a recipe for Chocolate Mousse that will surprise the heck out of you. Can you say avocados, anyone? Delicious. Cornbleet's 2 light, simple, fun and inexpensive cookbooks and the "more than a" slicer are a must. Purchase very satisfactory!!! We love it all together.

This is my favorite raw food dessert cookbook. The chocolate ganache is amazing! I love the Key Lime pie made with avocado!!! The whipped topping is made from cashews! Pie crust made with nuts and dates. Candies and caramels made faster than traditional recipes! Nuts replace flour, butter and cream. Dates, fruit, maple syrup and honey replace the sugar. The recipes are made without dehydration (I prefer) and I think they taste great. Raw apple crisp tastes better than cooked!
It was hard getting into it until I stocked my pantry with her ingredients. I am so glad I did. Completely gluten, dairy, flour and sugar free (a few raw sugar, but very few).

Have fun with this book.

This woman knows desserts. This book, along with a few others, has helped me turn my whole family vegan in less than a week -- even my 71 year old mom! Buy this book, if for nothing other than the Chocolate Truffle Tort and Shortbread Crust recipes. Devine!! They taste like over-the-top amazing gourmet food. And then when you tell people these are raw vegan desserts, just sit back and watch their jaws drop.

I already purchased her other book: Raw Food Made Easy, and loved all the recipes.
Later on, I found out about this book and decided to give a try.
Just as the first book, this book also delivered what it claimed.
Being a chocoholic, I tried the Dark Chocolate Truffles and completely fell in love with it!
They were sooooooo good and really simple & easy to make without buying unknown or hard-to-get ingredients. I've made them several times and gave some to my non-vegetarian friend to try.
She loves them so much. She did not believe they were raw and vegan, also made without refined sugar!

This book taught me, healthy & tasty treats can be made very easily without sacrificing flavor or our times. AND you don't have to be vegetarian or vegan to enjoy these treats.

Highly recommendable to everybody, especially who loves tasty dessert just like I do.

Because I could not see into the book before I purchased it, I did not realise that there were no photographs depicting each recipe. The recipes seem OK but I am not inclined to use the book because I like to see what it will look like prior to preparing.
I've ordered this book after I tried a couple of recipes from the autor Jennifer Cornbleet. Let me tell ya,I love this book! First, it have many, many recipes that goes from candies, to pies, to ice cream to sundaes! Second,they are so easy to prepare that most of the time I just assemble them right after dinner. In no time I have gorgeous desserts,which I can eat, without feeling guilty after!! And third, but not last, they are absolutely delicious! U dont believe me? Than try them,try them,try them! You wont be disappointed!!
