I was looking for texture reference photos for a humpback whale. This didn't have the type of pictures I was looking and had more information than I needed. I bought his other book Life Among Giants and that was an amazing photographic reference book and the story was interesting too.

There is not too much to read but just enough to wet your appetite. Pics are awesome

This book is designed for kids and not anyone who is serious about whales or whale photography. It was appropriately priced at a few dollars.

This book is written more for children and doesn't have many pages although has some nice photos. Wish it had more pages.
