This book is her story, written bluntly and honestly. My heart aches for her entire family and the story of a girl losing her father hit very close to home. I think readers will take a lot away from this book, it isn't a gruesome retelling of crimes it is a story about trauma, faith, and forgiveness. 52 people found this helpful. I have followed Kerri’s story and could not imagine the pain she and her family endured.
